Sunday 5th July 1857

Mother and Julia went to church.

In the afternoon Mr. G. C called to see us.

June 21st, 1857

Sunday 21st June 1857

Julia and I went to church W. Lee preached.

In the evening Mrs Alford Miss Alford Norah I and Julia and Mr. R C went to Woodside arrived home about a 1/4 to ten o’clock

June 9th, 1857

I went to church,

In the evening Mrs Edna Prince preached at Littletown Chapel, Mrs. Tharle, Miss Alford and Mr. G. Cooper called in to see Grandma

Whit Sunday

I and Julia went to church.

Mr G.C. drank tea with us, in the evening Miss Alford and Mr.R.C. called to see us. We all went for a walk.

I and mother went to church, in the evening Mr.G.C. called to see us.

Mother, and Julia went to church, in the afternoon I and Julia went to church. Mr. H. Williams called to see grandma.

May 3rd, 1857

Sunday 3rd May 1857

We went to church in the afternoon. Miss Alford drank tea with us.

In the evening we to chapel.

Mrs Rogers was buried at Wootton church this morning.

Mother and I went to Newport, saw cousin William, he came home with us. After tea Julia went to Ryde Harmonic concert

April 19th, 1857

Sunday 19th April 1857

Julia went to Wootton church.

In the afternoon Mr.G.C called in to see us as he was going to Combley Farm.  I went to Wootton church.

In the evening Julia and Miss Alford went to Wootton church, Captain Brown preached. Miss S. Brading, Miss J. Brading and Miss Lydia Cooper came as far as our house with them, after resting a short time, I and Julia went home with Miss Alford. About half passed 9 o’clock Mr.G.C, called on his return from Combley Farm.

Good Friday

We saw Wootton Band pass for Newbridge Tea Party.

I and Annie went to Wootton Church. In the afternoon  we went to Littletown tea party and arrived home about 9 o’clock.
