Julia very tired indeed, we put Daisy out in Mr Alford’s fields for the first time this year.

I went to Wootton Church, Mr Deacon has had Mrs Deacon and her sons graves enclosed by a very handsome railing. In the afternoon Julia went to Ryde in the evening, Mr. Krothrio and Cousin William came home with Julia.
Julia bought a new bonnet.
We had a half hundred faggots from the copse opposite our house. In the afternoon Julia went to Chapel Corner for some stones. Mr George Wall drank tea will us. In the evening I did some gardening.
In the afternoon I went for a walk as far as Chapel Corner. Mr Wall and George went to Fareham Asylum.
Last day of the fair, very fine weather indeed.
I went to Newport. In the afternoon Julia walked in and drank tea with Miss Rolf. She arrived home about 9 o’clock.
Miss Wall and I went to Carisbrooke Castle about 3 o’clock it poured with rain so we got very wet indeed. In the evening we went to the circus, there was an excursion to Alum Bay, a teaparty at Littletown, Merston, St Helens etc.
In the afternoon Miss Wall and I walked into Newport heard Mr Procter of Nodehill Chapel preach a very excellent sermon in the circus. After tea we walked to Carisbrooke Mr. Mathews showed us all over the new cemetery, after resting for a short while we returned home. Cousin William and Mr Krother drank tea […]
Whit Saturday. In the afternoon Julia walked into Newport and payed Miss Osborn for making her new dress.
