I painted the window frames. In the evening Fanny came to see us.

Thomas Pittis brought us some duck eggs from Newport, so we sat one of our hens on them. I went to Littletown Prayer Meeting.

I could not sleep very well, so I got up this morning by half past 4 o’clock. In the afternoon Julia walked into Newport.

About half past 1 o’clock, I left Wootton Villa for Ryde. I called and saw Mrs Tharle and also Mrs Cooper.
