I went to Newport. In the evening I went to Wootton Bridge spent a very pleasant evening at Mr. W. Coopers, arrived home about 10 o’clock.
We had our coals in.
I went to Wootton Church, Mr. Scot gone on a visit for the benefit of his health. In the afternoon Julia went to Church. In the evening Mr.G.C. and Mr.W.W. called in we spent a very pleasant evening.
Miss Sarah Young daughter of Mr Daniel Young at Fishbourne, departed this life, aged 23 years of age. We had eleven ducks hatch this morning, only one being bad, we bought the eggs off Mr Robert Cooper.
