I went to Newport, in the afternoon I did a little gardening.
I went to Newport. In the evening I went to the prayer meeting at Littletown. I enjoyed it very much. I arrived home about 9 o’clock.
Julia went to Wootton Bridge for some duck eggs. In the evening Mr. G. C, Mr. G, Mrs. and Miss Lydia Cooper called in we had a little practice but it did not sound so sweet as it generally does.

Mr G. C put a new cover to the well at Grandma’s farm. Repaired the mahogany table in our small room. In the evening Miss Ann Alford called to settle the bill of the tea and sugar had at the teaparty.
