We went to church in the afternoon. Fanny Hall drank tea with us. In the evening we went to chapel.
Nomination Day.
Julia and I went to a musical service at the Town Hall, Ryde. Mr.G.C. and Mr. J.G.G. came to meet us, we arrived home about quarter to 12 o’clock.
Mother arrived home from Ryde about 7 o’clock.
Mother went to Ryde.
Julia went to Ryde and spent a day at William’s. I walked to Shide and arrived home about 4 o’clock. Julia half past 7 o’clock.
Cousin William drank tea with grandma. I at Mr. Groundsell’s and Julia at Farmer Alford. I arrived home about quarter to 9 o’clock. Julia and Mr. G.C. went part of the way home with William. Mr.G.C. gave me a piece of wood for my puzzle.
