We heard in the evening that the Liberals were returned to Parliament with a majority of 59.

Opening of the “Victoria Rooms” at Ryde. Elijah was preformed in the morning at half past 2 o’clock, and miscellaneous concerts in the evening. Tickets of admission 7s 6d each time.

Mother received a note from uncle Thomas stating that last evening Mrs Player on getting into bed sprained her hand and wished mother to come to Ryde and stay for a few days.
