Quite an excitement today about Mr. Tribbecks donkey, last evening it strayed from Packsfield and took refuge in Beech Lane fields with the other donkeys. They were the whole of Friday trying to catch him but could not succeed until this evening it came in our house went into the meal store had a peep into the hall and left again very unceremoniously.

Rather unpleasant weather in and out of doors. In the evening we went to a “Gipsy Party” at Packsfield, I enjoyed myself very much. Mr. G. C came home with us.
