30th Monday, - Julia and I went to Newport. Mr Snooke put a new shoe on Daisy's foot.

December

1st Tuesday, - Mother and I went to Newport.

2nd Wednesday, - I copied a sketch of Wootton Bridge in 1834 drawn by Mr Bearman. Julia went to Newport. In the evening we went for a walk.

3rd Thursday, - Mother walked to Ryde. I did a little millinery. Mother arrived home by half past 6 o’clock.

4th Friday,- Did a little gardening.

5th Saturday,- I and Mother went to Newport. Mrs A Pike confined with a son. In the afternoon Julia walked into town. In the evening I walked as far as Mr Munns factory*. Miss Jane Rolf and Mr J.C.L. was with her. They came ...
