Diary Images

The diary has been scanned in greyscale to make the pages more readable. The quality of the ink used during the writing of the diary is very variable and on some pages has faded. In addition the diary has at some point sufferered from slight water damage which has caused the ink to bleed. The contrast and sharpness have been improved in PhotoShop to preserve as much detail as possible.

To allow the Diary to be indexed a transcipt is in the process of being provided on the left hand side of each page. In addition some links and footnotes have been added, where appropriate.
