Ann Cooper who came to the top of the hill with us, where meeting her sisters and a few more friends, who had been to Ebenezer Chapel she returned homeward with them, and we pursued our journey alone. We arrived home by 9 o’clock, then read a little, played a few tunes on the concertina and then retired to rest.
2nd Monday - I removed all my flowers indoors for shelter from the frost. Mother went to Newport. I went for a walk, heard that Miss Jane Cooper was going to be married in a fortnight’s time. In the evening I did a little drawing.
3rd Tuesday - I went to Newport had “Daisy” shod. In the evening we had a game of fifteen two.
