Mr G.C. and Mr J.C. spent the evening with us. I forgot to mention that Mr “Linnington” in the employ of Mr Popham met with an accident last Monday evening. It is supposed that as he was attending his horses a seized him and he fell with part of the harness on his shoulder, He had a severe cut on his forehead, supposed to have been caused by a nail in the door by the side of which he fell. He was found by Mr. Greenham the gardener, quite insensible about 11. o’clock.
