The tea party was held in the National School Rooms, we called at Mrs Saunders for Julia, and after resting awhile proceeded to the tea party.
Mrs. Saunders had a table to herself, so that it was very comfortable. After tea the National Anthem was sung. Mr. Prothero then gave a short lecture with revolving views, it was very interesting, but some of the audience was rather impatient. The lecture finished about half past 9 o’clock. Mr. Conner and a few others then addressed the company for a short time, singing was also introduced in the interval of each speaker, it was a very social party.
Mr.G.C., Mr.J.C. and Mr.J.O. accompanied us home and although it was so ? I enjoyed the walk very much.
