21st? Monday - The anniversary of St Thomas' Church celebrated by a teaparty in the national school room. About 4000 people sat down to partake of the various refreshments, after tea Mr. Connor read a Christmas Carol the interval was filled up by singing, the company departed very much pleased with their evenings amusement.

22nd Wednesday - Grandma very poorly, in the evening Mr. W. W. D. and Mr. T. L. called in.

23rd Thursday - I and Mother went into Newport.

24th Friday - I and Julia went into Newport, I paid the Insurance Money, saw Mr. Joseph Thorne.
