16th Wednesday - The Ryde band played for the first time this season on the Esplanade
near the Castle. Julia drank tea with Fanny at Woodhouse.
17th Thursday - I went to Newport.

19th Saturday - I went to Wootton Church and saw the remains of Mrs Sanders buried
near the old pollard at the back of the church. All the family followed. In the afternoon
