26th Wednesday, - Last day of the fair, very fine weather indeed.
27th Thursday, - In the afternoon I went for a walk as far as Chapel Corner. Mr Wall and George went to Fareham Asylum.
28th Friday, - We had a half hundred faggots from the copse opposite our house. In the afternoon Julia went to Chapel Corner for some stones. Mr George Wall drank tea will us. In the evening I did some gardening.
29th Saturday, - Julia bought a new bonnet.
