... In the afternoon, Miss Jane Rolf and those of the lads who were lodging at Mrs Sanders called to see Julia. In the evening Julia and I went to St Thomas' Church.
8th Monday, - Julia went to see Fanny. The revivals are still up.
9th Tuesday, - Mother left us for Fareham. I drove her in the donkey cart as far as the corner and met the coach. In the evening I rather poorly.
10th Wednesday, - I had a very severe attack of the ?. Mr. G.C. called to see us.
11th Thursday, - Miss Jane Rolf spent the day with us. I went to Newport. Miss Clara Prince preached at Littletown Chapel to a numerous congregation.
12th Friday, - We had the little room chimney swept, very busy all day.
