3rd Sunday - Julia and I with Mr and Mrs Moore wnt to Wootton Church. In the afternoon I read. In the evening as no friends called in to see us we retired to rest about 1/2 past 9 o'clock.
4th Monday - Barnabas Linnington* was buried at Wootton today -
Wednesday - Miss Shute was brought fom Paris and buried at Tunbridge Wells. - In the evening Julia and I went to Newport to Miss Cooper's intestainment?, at the Queens Rooms. I spent a very agreeable evening, we arrived home at about 1/4 to 11 o'clock.
Saturday - Mother and I went to Newport, it was a very wet and unpleasant ride. Mother went to the supervisors -
