18th Tuesday - This evening for the very first time in our lives Julia and I went with Mr. G. C to the Theatre at Ryde, we liked it very much indeed. The pieces performed were "???? Up and the "Laughable farce of A Thumping Legacy and the favourite comedietta called "Delicate Ground"their was also dancing and ringery.
22nd Saturday - Cousin William sent us an invitation to spend the day at Ryde on Monday next, it being the aniversary of the "Odd Fellows" club dinner.
