JUNE

1st Whit Monday - Wootton club walk. In the afternoon Miss Alford and I and Julia went to Wootton Bridge, we drank tea at Mr.W.Cooper and arrived home about half passed 9 o’clock.

2nd Tuesday - Miss Alford and I and a few friends went as far as Carisbrooke Castle, we spent a very pleasant afternoon, arriving home about quarter past 10 o’clock.

3rd Wednesday -

6th Saturday -

7th Sunday - A very wet morning, we went to chapel in the evening. Came home and retired to rest at quarter past 8 o’clock.

10th Wednesday - Mr Pike cut the hedge.
