30th April - Mrs Rogers was buried at Wootton church this morning. Mother and I went to Newport, saw cousin William, he came home with us. After tea Julia went to Ryde Harmonic concert.
MAY
1st Friday - Olive Taylor was buried at Arreton, she was 14 years of age. In the evening Mr.G.C. called in. Julia returned from Ryde about 8 o’clock.
2nd Saturday - Mother bought two jugs in Newport.
3rd Sunday - We went to church in the afternoon. Miss Alford drank tea with us. In the evening we to chapel.
