... we went to Littletown tea party and arrived home about 9 o’clock.
11th Saturday - I and Annie went to Newport in the afternoon. Miss Alford cme for Julia to go to a tea party, they spent a very pleasant evening and arrived home about half past 9 o’clock. Lady Holmes was buried.
12th Sunday - William came to see grandma, Miss Alford and Miss Wall drank tea with us, William returned home about 7 o’clock.
13th Monday -
14th Tuesday - In the afternoon Annie and I went to Wootton Bridge, we called at Mr. Coopers and Mrs Brading, then drank tea at Mrs Groundsells, we arrived home about quarter passed 6 o’clock.
