18th Sunday - Julia and I went to church. In the afternoon we went to Chapel. In the evening Mr. G. C and Mr. J. Y. G Julia and I went to Newport Church. We arrived home about 9 o'clock.
19th Monday - Mr. James Young Groundsell's birthday. In the afternoon a few friends drank tea and spent the evening at his house we were amongst the number, we spent a very pleasant evening and arrived home about 1/2 past 10 o'clock.
20th Tuesday - The consecration of St Thoma's's Church Newport. Mr. G. C and Mr. J. Y. G Julia & I went we arrived home about 5 o'clock.
