1st Wednesday – I went to Newport. Miss Dore came part of the way home with me.
2nd Thursday – I went to Newport. In the evening received a parcel from Mother.
3rd Friday – I went to Newport.
4th Saturday – I went to Newport. Grandma rather better, a very wet evening.
5th Sunday – I received the sacrament at Wootton Church. In the afternoon Mt. J.K. and Miss Dore drank tea with me Mr. G.C . Mr. H…. and Mr…… went to
6th Monday – I went to Newport. In the evening Mr. Read bought 4 couple of my chicken at. 3.6 the couple.
