18th Monday - Mr. W. W. D and Mr. T. L. drank tea with us.
19th Tuesday - Mr. Healey came from Winchester.
22nd Friday - I went to Newport. In the evening Mr. W. W. D and Mr. T. L. called in - rather unpleasant indoors.
23rd Saturday - I went to Newport, had the donkey shod.
24th Sunday - a very wet morning indeed. Mr. W. W. D and Mr. T. L. called in about 4 o'clock - and Mr. W. G. C. about 7 o'clock.
25th Monday - Mother went to ryde.
26th Tuesday - tomorrow is the aniversary of ???? birthday
27th Wednesday - Mother returned from Ryde.
28th Thursday - Mother and i went to Shide.
29th Friday - The pullet commenced laying.
